The 'Great Escape' is located in the heart of the Heritage Action Zone on Grimsby Docks.

The historic building, having been beautifully restored by the recovery community stands as inspiration for what can be achieved by those who choose sober living.

As the home of the 'Black Gull Community Venue', we offer a wide range of activities, including a coffee shop, sober events, creative workshops, recovery meetings, and much more.

Additionally, we actively assist community-focused projects by offering flexible space for meetings, workshops, or performances to help them come to fruition.

The Great Escape is a unique space in many ways. Beautifully themed decor in every room creates a non-clinical backdrop to meetings and small events.

Located upstairs, our spaces can be hired individually or brought together to create breakout rooms and private 1 to 1 sessions.

The podcast equipment is used regularly by GTFC and other local content creators looking to produce high quality voiceovers for video content.
