Make a change...

Change starts with a single step forwards. Be the change you want to see and talk to us today.

Starting your recovery journey...

At Creative Start we work from a recovery-focused, lived-experience approach.

Because of this, we only accept self-referrals.

We believe recovery begins with choice, agency, and willingness. For that reason, we ask that individuals contact us themselves, rather than being referred on their behalf by another service.

If you’re interested in what we do, the best way to start is to:

Call us directly, or attend one of our open meetings every Monday at 11am at
The Comeback, and our recovery open day every Thursday between 11am and 3pm at the Great Escape, where anyone can just turn up and ask any questions that might be concerning them.

This ensures:

  • The choice to engage is yours
  • Expectations are clear from the start
  • We connect with people who genuinely want what we offer

If you’re a professional or family member supporting someone, we encourage you to share our details and invite them to get in touch when they feel ready.

Fill out our simple referral form and get access to the help you need, or call us on 07586 458 586 for a confidential chat with one of our peer-support volunteers.
